Code of conduct
The Spirit of Rugby Football at North Bristol RFC is to engender a positive, enthusiastic attitude towards the playing of Rugby football with exemplary behaviour both on and off the field.
We expect all our players to be a credit, not only to themselves and their parents but also to North Bristol RFC and the wider community.
We encourage first and foremost the player’s enjoyment and safety of the game, and that irrespective of skill level or age that they will play at every possible opportunity.
It is our belief that to play a sophisticated team game such as rugby union, players need to develop respect for authority and respect for others, and demonstrate commitment to fair play and to team play. These characteristics are beneficial to the individual and, ultimately, to the local community as a whole. North Bristol RFC fully embrace these principles and adheres strictly to the RFU Continuum for the development of junior rugby. We provide RFU qualified coaches and referees, and are frequently complimented on the style of play and the attitude of our players both on and off the field of play.
