Welcome to NBRFC U10s Season 2007-2008

North Bristol RFC Junior Section U10s fully conform to the RFU’s ethos of Children first Results second

“Winning isn’t everything, trying to win is.”

Is your child interested in trying a sport and haven't yet considered Rugby? North Bristol RFC U10 team may w3ell be the answer that you are looking for

U10 Mini Rugby is a fast moving sport, along with teaching contact rugby with stringent safety rules, we shall be endeavouring to provide a structured training season utilising Key Learning Objectives. As with the rest of the club we train on Sunday mornings and we also Thursday evenings at the club under floodlights. Come and join us as it won't be long before you are integrated with this very small band of friends. We have lost quite a few players due to relocation and other commitments so are actively recruiting in this age group. So if you find that your football, rugby, cricket team etc won't play you regularily enough come to Oaklands where you will be assured of a game, an action packed season and a brilliant end of season tour.

This is the only squad within the club that is coached solely by backs!!! The sessions are run by David Stone and Mike Cantin who are more at home applying gel than they are rucking but make an excellent fist of it. Both David and Mike are all RFU qualified coaches, CRB checked, RFU certified with regards to Child Protection and again are parent volunteers.

Mike's wife, Jodie, is the club's Child Protection Officer so your children are in good hands whilst David is married to Tina who is the Kit Manager so you'll get the best of everything. David boasts that this squad has the most cones in the club and they are the prettiest, come on down and judge for yourself...... Everyone has such a great time you'll wonder what you did on a Sunday before rugby came into your life, just ask Tina.....

We will advise you on what kit you require and will fund raise to enable your child to have a loan shirt of their own. Our commitment to you is a full season of our time, not only during training and games but also behind the scenes desperately trying to improve the North Bristol experience for you and your child. As you will see from the rest of the web site we are a very friendly social team, use the facilities, gain new friendships - Come and join in with the fun
